Pi Tau Sigma Revives Tradition
"...why can't we get this started again? We have dedicated students and a supportive faculty...."
From hotdogs and hamburgers to Dr. Ainane's famous chicken kabobs, there was plenty of food for all who attended. Along with Dr. Ainane, Fitz Walker, the graduate studies student coordinator, manned the grills. "I haven't eaten so much in a long time!" said Diana Oradei, an ME junior, "The hotdogs were so good!"
One of the first warm days of the spring semester, the students mingled and many played soccer and tossed Frisbees. "It was wonderful to relax and enjoy the day," said ME junior Jasmine Whittaker, "It gave me a chance to meet some people in ME that I had never talked to before."
Pi Tau Sigma's current President is Charlie Choe, an active ME senior that wanted to revive the annual spring BBQ. Choe comments, “I thought to myself --why can't we get this started again? We have dedicated students and a supportive faculty, we can definitely get this tradition started again!"
