My research interest is focused on vibration damping and control of flexible structure by topology optimization. The objective is to enhance the damping characteristics of structures treated with viscoelastic treatments by changing the microstructural distribution of the viscoelastic material. The change in microstructural configuration is done by the homogenization of the viscoelastic microstructure and topology optimization techniques.
